Nigel Was born in Wales but has lived in London for over forty years. He is presently Head of Information at a sexual health charity where he has worked for fifteen years. He has briefed and advised patients, legal counsel and medical professionals on a number of court cases and potential cases. He serves on a UK parliamentary advisory group on dermatology. He has written extensively on the Amanda Knox/Raffaele Sollecito miscarriage of justice. He is also a school governor and a former London borough councillor. He is married with two adult sons.
